Ghana’s economy has seen significant improvement because of wise spending- Dep. Finance Minister

According to him, the days of excessive borrowing and needless spending in Ghana are over under the current administration.
He made the point that the government will not spend what it doesn’t have.
The Minister explained that the deliberate effort to cut out wastage in the system has made government generate revenue
“The growth we are recording as a country is because we are spending wisely and aggressively pursuing revenue. The days of excessive borrowing are over,” he said on Key Points on TV3 Saturday, July 25.
To the Deputy Finance Minister, it is imperative that the current economy is compared to what they inherited in order to appreciate the work the current government has done.
“For you to appreciate where we are, it is critical that you appreciate where we came from. It was to put everything in context for everybody to appreciate the achievements.
“It was basically a good appreciation of the trajectory of the path this economy has travelled,” he said.
