Why it matters
OptimistFi's case is that Ethos can be valuable if its digital insurance-agency model keeps turning consumer demand and carrier relationships into high-margin commission revenue. It also has to prove growth is cash-generative, not just lead-spend driven.
This filing is mixed because Colis sold a meaningful block, but the plan makes the trades prearranged rather than a fresh business signal. Colis still held 1,537,360 shares after the sale, so the position remained large. The trade reduced the direct stake, but it did not come close to eliminating it.
The strongest caveat in the filing is the Rule 10b5-1 plan adopted on May 12, 2026, which limits how much investors can read into the timing. The filing by itself does not change the operating story.

What's next
The next Form 4 from Colis will be the cleanest follow-up. Another sale under the same plan would extend the pattern, while no further selling would leave this as a single prearranged disclosure.
That makes the next filing the best check on whether the pattern continues. Until then, investors have a dated ownership update, not an operating report.
