‘Alhamdulillah’ — Davido celebrates his twins’ first birthday

Davido, the Afrobeats star, has taken to social media to celebrate his twins’ first birthday.

In October 2023, Davido and Chioma Adeleke, his wife, welcomed their twins in the United States.

In a social media post on Wednesday, the singer thanked God for the first birth anniversary of his twin babies.

In the accompanying caption, Davido wrote: “👶👶 +1 Alhamdulillah.”

Davido had previously said that people told him it would be challenging for him and his wife to raise the twins.

The 31-year-old singer also described his experience of being a father to a set of twins as a blessing.

“I remember when they came, everybody was like we have twins and that it is going to be hard,” he said.

“But my twins are blessed. They don’t even cry. They are just calm and they are growing so fast. It is a blessing. Thank God for everything really.”

The couple took a social media break in October 2022 following the death of Ifeanyi, their first child.

The music star has also been vocal about grief and how he managed to handle it.

In March 2023, Davido announced the release of his latest album ‘Timeless’. In the same month, he revealed that he and Chioma had officially married.

On June 25, the lovebirds held a lavish traditional marriage ceremony in Lagos.
