Former Golden Child member TAG to make his solo debut using the artist name Universe, releasing his 1st mini album 'The So-Called Luck'

Former Golden Child member TAG (Son Young Taek) is kicking off the second chapter of his music career with the artist name "Universe".

The musician is set to release his 1st solo mini album 'The So-Called Luck' on May 29 at 6 PM KST, showcasing his true color as an artist. Universe participated in composing, writing, and arranging all 6 tracks on the mini album, which features the title track "Unlove" as well as the b-sides "The So-Called Luck", "Flawless", "Miracle", "Oreo", and "Ready for Show".

In particular, through his solo artist transformation, Universe intends on proving his versatility as a musician, showcasing not only his rap and dance skills but also his delicate and sentimental vocals. Ahead of his solo debut, Universe commented, "Thus far, I showcased my music as a composer and producer writing for various artists, but this time I am relaying my story using my own name, which is extremely meaningful and exciting. I spent many years pondering over all kinds of thoughts and emotions within my music, and I hope that through this album, those efforts will reach listeners authentically."

Universe's 1st mini album 'The So-Called Luck' is set for release on May 29 at 6 PM KST. Next month on June 28 KST, he's also scheduled to hold his 1st fan concert, 'From Birth to Death', at Theater Under the Clouds in Seoul.
