KATSEYE to perform at Lollapalooza across three South American countries
by Minsoo-Kim · allkpopThe global girl group KATSEYE, a collaboration between HYBE and Geffen Records, is set to take the stage at Lollapalooza South America, which will be held across Argentina, Chile, and Brazil next month.
KATSEYE’s South American run begins on March 13th local time at Hipódromo de San Isidro in Buenos Aires for Lollapalooza Argentina. The group will then perform the very next day, March 14th, at Parque O’Higgins in Santiago for Lollapalooza Chile. They will wrap up their festival schedule in the region on March 22nd at Autódromo de Interlagos in São Paulo, Brazil, for Lollapalooza Brazil.
Lollapalooza South America is one of the world’s major music festivals, drawing more than 400,000 attendees annually. Known for its passionate atmosphere, this year’s lineup includes global stars such as Sabrina Carpenter, Chappell Roan, and Tyler, The Creator. On the official poster, KATSEYE is listed directly below these headliners, highlighting the group’s remarkable status and presence despite being only in their second year since debut.
Last August, KATSEYE performed at Lollapalooza Chicago, the festival’s flagship event, where they drew attention for their commanding performance skills and strong live vocals. Approximately 420,000 people watched their stage, combining on-site audiences and online viewers. Building on that momentum, the group embarked on their first North American headline tour, The Beautiful Chaos Tour, with all 16 shows across 13 cities selling out.
KATSEYE’s impact on major global music charts has continued to grow. “Gabriela,” a track from their second EP 'BEAUTIFUL CHAOS', rose to a peak of No. 21 on the Billboard Hot 100 dated January 17th, 2026, following their large-scale festival performances. “Internet Girl,” released this January, also entered the Billboard Hot 100 and reached No. 24 on the UK Official Singles Top 100 chart (January 9th–15th, 2026), marking another career high for the group on that chart.
Their long-running popularity stands out in particular. The EP 'BEAUTIFUL CHAOS' ranked No. 43 on the latest Billboard 200 chart dated February 14th, rising seven spots from the previous week and marking 32 consecutive weeks on the chart. It also held strong positions at No. 13 on Top Album Sales and No. 11 on Top Current Album Sales. “Gabriela” and “Internet Girl” previously spent a cumulative 28 weeks and 4 weeks, respectively, on the Billboard Hot 100, reflecting sustained love from listeners.
KATSEYE was formed through the audition project The Debut: Dream Academy and is widely cited as a representative success story of HYBE chairman Bang Si Hyuk’s “multi-home, multi-genre” strategy. Recently, the group was nominated for Best New Artist and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance at the 68th Grammy Awards. Following Lollapalooza South America, they are also scheduled to perform at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in April.
