Actor Jung Sung Il has ended his nine-year marriage.

According to reports on October 14th KST, Jung recently finalized a divorce from his non-celebrity wife. After much deliberation, the couple decided to part ways and completed the process amicably. They have officially ended their nine-year marriage and will now go their separate ways.

Jung had previously gained attention for sharing his movie-like love story on a variety show. He met his wife through a mutual friend, dated her for three years before breaking up, and later reunited by chance. Just three months after reconnecting, they tied the knot in 2016. The couple shares one son.

Jung made his debut in 2002 with the film 'H' and spent most of his early career on the theater and musical stage. However, he rose to mainstream popularity through the 2022–2023 Netflix series 'The Glory', where he portrayed Ha Do Young, the husband of Park Yeon Jin (played by Lim Ji Yeon).

Since then, he has continued to build an impressive portfolio. In January, he starred in the Disney+ series 'Trigger' as Han Do, a producer chasing justice. In September, he made his big screen lead debut with the film 'Murderer Report'. His upcoming project is another Disney+ original series titled 'Made in Korea'.
