Yoo Ah In’s agency denies reports of film comeback with 'Vampire'

On December 17th KST, UAA stated, “Nothing has been decided (regarding his appearance in the film 'Vampire').”
Earlier, a media outlet reported that Yoo Ah In would return with a new film 'Vampire', directed by Jang Jae Hyun. The project is expected to further expand the occult universe the director has built through his previous works.
Yoo Ah In was indicted without detention on charges of administering four types of medical narcotics—propofol, midazolam, ketamine, and remimazolam—a total of 181 times between September 2020 and March 2022. He was also accused of illegally purchasing sleeping pills under another person’s name on 44 occasions between May 2021 and August of last year. Investigations further revealed that he smoked marijuana in the United States in January 2022, with additional charges confirmed for encouraging a companion to do the same.
In September 2023, Yoo Ah In was sentenced at his first trial to one year in prison, a fine of 2 million KRW, 80 hours of a drug rehabilitation program, and a forfeiture of 1.54 million KRW, and was taken into custody. This past July, the Supreme Court finalized his sentence at one year in prison with a two-year suspended sentence and a fine of 2 million KRW.
