i-dle's Shuhua makes Toronto International Film Festival debut with first leading film

Shuhua of i-dle is set to make her debut at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) with her first leading role.

On July 22 KST, Cube Entertainment announced, "The film 'Happily Ever After' (directed by Feng-I Fiona Roan), starring Shuhua in the lead role, has been officially invited to the Special Presentations section of the 51st Toronto International Film Festival."

TIFF is North America's largest film festival and will be held from September 10 to 20. Shuhua's film has been selected for the festival's Special Presentations section, which showcases highly anticipated new works from internationally acclaimed filmmakers and actors.

"When I first heard the news, I honestly couldn't believe it," Shuhua shared. "It's a tremendous honor to step onto the international stage with such an incredible team from my very first leading role."

She continued, "I hope everyone who watches the film can find comfort and relate to the story of Lin Jiaqi, the character I portray. I also hope audiences can feel the sincerity and heart that we poured into this project."

'Happily Ever After' tells the story of two sisters with completely different personalities whose peaceful lives begin to change after they encounter a stray cat. Shuhua plays Lin Jiaqi, the cheerful, innocent youngest daughter.

Meanwhile, i-dle is scheduled to perform at Lollapalooza Chicago on August 1.
