According to broadcasting industry sources on April 28, the four actors carried out a 1-night, 2-day travel variety shoot in Gangneung, Gangwon Province on April 24 and 25.
The program is a special project planned to mark the 10th anniversary of tvN drama 'Guardian: The Lonely and Great God.' The production is directed by producer Hwang Da Won, who has previously worked on programs such as 'Handsome Trot,' 'City Girls on the Climb,' and 'Once in a Lifetime, Kilimanjaro.'
tvN is planning to air the program in the first half of this year to celebrate both the 10th anniversary of 'Guardian: The Lonely and Great God' and the 20th anniversary of the channel’s launch. Through this travel format, the four actors will revisit memorable scenes and famous lines from the drama and reflect on its meaning and legacy.
'Guardian: The Lonely and Great God' remains one of tvN’s most iconic mega IPs, still widely discussed and remembered by viewers. The anniversary special is expected to evoke nostalgia among audiences while reigniting emotions tied to the beloved series.
