Gong Yoo to embark on 2026 Asia fan meeting tour ‘The Long Take’

Actor Gong Yoo is set to reunite with fans across Asia through a brand-new fan meeting tour.

On July 11 KST, his agency Management SOOP unveiled an invitation image on its official social media channels announcing the 2026 GONG YOO ASIA FANMEETING TOUR ‘THE LONG TAKE.’

According to the teaser, the tour will visit Jakarta, Manila, Yokohama, Bangkok, Macau, and Seoul, with the tagline, “The journey begins.” Additional details, including dates and venues, are expected to be announced at a later time.

Alongside the announcement, Gong Yoo shared a heartfelt handwritten letter expressing his gratitude to fans and explaining why he decided to organize the tour.

“Hello, this is Gong Yoo. It’s been a while since I’ve greeted you with a handwritten letter,” he wrote.

“I hope everyone is staying healthy during this hot summer. Every year, I’m deeply grateful for the birthday wishes and warm support you send me. Thanks to those who have stayed by my side for so long, I’ve naturally found myself looking back on the time we’ve shared together.”

The actor revealed that those reflections inspired him to prepare a special opportunity to meet fans in person.

“This year, I wanted to create a place where we could look back on those moments together. I hope we can add a new chapter to the story we’ve built over the years. Until then, I’ll continue doing my best where I am and return to you with my best self. Thank you, always.”

The announcement has already generated excitement among fans, who are eagerly awaiting Gong Yoo’s first Asia fan meeting tour in years and the chance to create new memories with the beloved actor.
