I.O.I member and actress Kang Mi Na made a surprise visit to the rehearsal site of I.O.I, showing her support ahead of the group’s 10th anniversary concert tour.

According to multiple industry sources on May 28, Kang Mi Na visited the rehearsal run-through for I.O.I’s '2026 I.O.I Concert Tour: LOOP' in Seoul, held earlier that afternoon. During her visit, she reportedly met with the members backstage and spent time greeting them warmly ahead of their upcoming performances.

An official from I.O.I stated that Kang Mi Na was unable to attend the actual concert dates due to a previously scheduled commitment. Despite her tight schedule, she made time to personally visit the rehearsal, expressing her support and affection for the group. Witnesses noted that she shared an emotional reunion with the members, highlighting their strong bond.

Originally formed through Mnet’s survival program 'Produce 101' in 2016, I.O.I quickly rose to national popularity with hit songs such as “Very Very Very” and “Dream Girls.” After completing their project promotions, the members pursued individual careers in music, acting, and entertainment. The group recently reunited to celebrate their 10th anniversary, releasing the special track “Suddenly” and resuming group activities.

The current lineup includes Jeon Somi, Kim Sejeong, Choi Yoojung, Kim Chungha, Kim Sohye, Jung Chaeyeon, Kim Doyeon, Lim Nayoung, and Yoo Yeonjung. Kang Mi Na and Zhou Jieqiong were unable to participate in the anniversary promotions due to scheduling conflicts, which previously led to online speculation about possible discord among members. However, Kang Mi Na’s in-person visit and public show of support have effectively dispelled such rumors.

Kang Mi Na, who debuted as part of I.O.I, has since built a successful acting career. She has appeared in dramas including Hotel del Luna, Moonshine, Café Minamdang, Welcome to Samdal-ri, and Twelve, earning recognition for her steady growth as an actress. She is also set to return to the small screen in tvN’s upcoming Monday–Tuesday drama See You at Work Tomorrow!, which premieres on June 22.

I.O.I, whose last full-group stage was in 2017’s 'Time Slip – I.O.I,' will kick off their anniversary tour in Seoul from May 29 to 31 at the Jamsil Indoor Stadium, before continuing on to major Asian cities including Bangkok and Hong Kong.
