SUPER JUNIOR's new unit, SUPER JUNIOR-83z, has officially made its debut. The unit, formed by same-age members Leeteuk and Heechul, who were both born in 1983, released their first mini-album 'Promise' on July 13 at 6 PM KST.

The album's title track, also titled "Promise," is built on a 1990s-2000s band sound, pairing powerful vocals with Korean lyrics.

Accompanying the release, the music video for "Promise" was unveiled on the SMTOWN YouTube channel. Presented in a dramatized format, it tells a story of friendship centered around a fictional "Bus No. 83."

The mini-album contains six tracks in total. Along with the title song, it includes the unit tracks "SOLOVE," "ONSAEMIRO," and "More Than Love," plus solo songs from each member: Leeteuk's "Bad Name" and Heechul's "GODOGNAM."

Both Leeteuk and Heechul were involved throughout the album's creation, contributing to the concept, writing lyrics for the b-side tracks, and appearing in the music video.
