The action-thriller film has certainly hit a slack in its 5th week and has managed to earn Rs 2.15 crore on Thursday. Pushpa 2 has collected Rs 2 crore as the week started on Monday.
Allu Arjun-starrer Pushpa 2: The Rule's earnings have surely slowed down and the makers have announced the release of its extended version which will release on January 17. The reloaded version will give a glimpse into the film and will offer viewers an additional 20 minutes of footage. Pushpa 2 has become the longest Indian film, with a runtime of 3 hours and 40 minutes. The release was earlier scheduled for January 11, but has now been postponed due to technical issues.
Pushpa 2 has beaten Varun Dhawan's Baby John and Mufasa by a heavy margin. Varun's film did a business of Rs 17 lakhs on Thursday and the animated adventure drama Mufasa earned Rs 34 lakhs. Will Pushpa 2: The Rile keep audiences glued to the screens for another week as Ram Charan and Kiara Advani starrer Game Changer is now in the race. The 2 hour-44 minute movie has been released in theatres on January 10. According to industry tracker Sacnilk, Pushpa 2 earned Rs 0.45 crore came from Telugu, Rs 1.65 crore in Hindi, Rs 0.04 crore in Tamil, and Rs 0.01 crore in Malayalam. Pushpa 2 earned Rs 1716 crore on Thursday which is a worldwide box office collection. The film is the second-highest grosser in Indian cinema worldwide and is all set to beat Aamir Khan's Dangal.
