The actress we are talking about is Preity Zinta. The actress made her acting debut in Dil Se, which also stars Shah Rukh Khan and Manisha Koirala. Since then, Preity has appeared in many interesting films like Kya Kehna, Soldier, Har Dil Jo Pyar Karega, Mission Kashmir, Dil Chahta Hai, Veer Zaara, Kal Ho Naa Ho, Koi Mil Gaya, and many more.

Did you know that in 2009, Preity Zinta adopted 34 girls and decided to look after their expenses? Preity has not only been generous as a person but also quite brave. During the 90s, she was threatened by Chhota Shakeel from the underworld. Shakeel had allegedly invested in the film Chori Chori Chupke Chupke, and producer Bharat Shah was arrested in the case. Preity was a part of the film and had received a call from the gang demanding Rs 50 lakh as extortion. But Zinta didn't pay the money and even refused to take armed security as advised by Union Minister Lal Krishna Advani back then. For her courage, the Dil Se actress was honoured with the Godfrey Phillips National Bravery Award.

In 2016, she decided to take a break from movies and married Gene Goodenough. The actress moved to Los Angeles and welcomed their twins in 2021 via surrogacy. The audience will soon get to see Preity back on screen after a long time with Lahore 1947. The patriotic drama also stars Sunny Deol in the lead role and is produced by Aamir Khan.
