Manchester United head coach Ruben Amorim has seemingly fired a warning to five players as he continues to familiarise himself with his new surroundings.
Amorim officially began work on November 11 in what has been a busy few days for the Portuguese tactician.
He still doesn't have a majority of his players who are away on international duty. Amorim has been pictured meeting fans at Old Trafford and the other players at the training complex.
Amorim's first interview as Manchester United boss
On Friday, the club released the first official interview with the 39-year-old, in which he touched on a couple of topics.
The former Sporting Lisbon manager insisted that the Red Devils are the engine of the Premier League, and he would work to bring the identity back to Old Trafford.
Amorim fires warning to Manchester United players
Amorim was also quizzed on a select group of young players and the general expectation among fans of their potential. The head coach fired back that Kobbie Mainoo, Alejandro Garnacho, Leny Yoro, Rasmus Hojlund, and Amad Diallo should be ready to perform as expected.
"I don't want to say that we need time because we are a young team. They are prepared. They are prepared to cope with the demands of playing for Manchester United. They should be because they are here."

Amorim also reiterated that the players should be ready to start implementing his ideas from the get-go.
His first match will be an away trip to Portman Road to face Ipswich Town who got their first win of the season before the break. His first game at Old Trafford will be against Bodo/Glimt in the Europa League before playing Everton in the league.
Amorim's first real test will come on December 4 when they travel to the Emirates to face Arsenal.

Amorim met Kobbie Mainoo, Mason Mount, and Leny Yoro, players who are recovering from injury.
