A Nigerian man who claimed he witnessed an emotional scene at the hospital when the late gospel singer Toluwanisings was rushed in has shared what he saw before the artist's passing.

The eyewitness, posting on X under the handle @EnnyUtd, stated that he had taken his wife to the hospital for antenatal care when a vehicle carrying the gospel artist arrived.

His account was shared hours before the death of Toluwanisings was confirmed by his family.

In his post on X, @EnnyUtd described the distress among those who accompanied the singer to the medical facility.

He wrote:

“Brought my wife to the hospital for antenatal and some car rushed in here bringing a popular gospel man. Come and see how BBO and the rest are crying so bad, I pray he survives this tho.”

Although the post did not initially name the person in the vehicle, it later became associated with the reports about Toluwanisings.

Family confirms Toluwanisings’ death following social media speculation

The uncertainty surrounding the singer’s condition ended after his family confirmed his death in a statement posted on his Instagram page.

According to the statement, Toluwanisings died in the early hours of Wednesday, October 14.

The announcement followed hours of intense public speculation and heartfelt reactions across social media, with lawyer Pelumi Olanjengbesi also sharing a message on Instagram.

Content creator Woli Agba had earlier shared a cryptic post that appeared to urge caution amid the uncertainty.
