Governor Dauda Lawal has declared President Bola Tinubu as the winner of the APC presidential primary election in his state, Zamfara.
According to the trending video of the governor, President Tinubu scored 321, 579 votes while his main opponent, Stanley Osifo, garnered 42 votes.

APC presidential primary: Results emerge from Kano ward
President Bola Tinubu has emerged victorious in the APC presidential primary election held in Kabo Ward, Kabo local government Area of Kano state.
The exercise took place at the APC secretariat in the ward, which is the home ward of the Deputy President of the Senate, Barau Jibrin.
According to a statement issued by Barau’s media aide, Ismail Mudashir, the Deputy Senate President said the turnout was a positive signal ahead of the 2027 general elections.
“With the massive turnout of party members, Insha Allah, the coast is clear for the victory of President Tinubu come January 16th, 2027, when the Independent National Electoral Commission will conduct the presidential and National Assembly elections,” he said.
According to the statement, the returning officer, Umar Mohammadu Rabiu, said Tinubu defeated his lone challenger, Osifo Osayamen Stanley, who polled zero votes.
Rabiu added that three out of the 1,007 eligible voters in the ward did not participate in the exercise.
He expressed satisfaction with the peaceful conduct of the primary election.
Speaking after the exercise, Barau thanked party members for what he described as the massive turnout and orderly conduct during the election.
The Chairman of Kabo local government area, Lawal Najume, also commended the conduct of the exercise and expressed confidence in the APC’s chances in the 2027 elections.
