Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs accused of raping woman over Tupac claims

Embattled rap mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs is facing allegations from a woman that claims that he sexually assaulted her as a form of punishment for comments he made about the death of one time rival Tupac Shakur.

The court document, filed in California by Ashley Parham, is the latest civil case to be filed against Diddy, who is currently being held in New York as he awaits a criminal trial on charges of sex trafficking and racketeering.

In the past Diddy has denied any involvement in the murder of Shakur, who was killed in a drive-by shooting in Las Vegas in 1996.

The murder has never been solved, although former gang member Duane “Keffe D” Davis was charged with murder last year. Mr Davis, whose trial will begin in March 2025, previously claimed that Mr Combs offered him $1m (£769,000) for a hit on Shakur.

In the lawsuit, the woman claims Combs raped her using a remote control – and that associates witnessed and also took part in the sexual abuse.

Ms Parham alleges that the rapper then approached her “with a knife and held it to the right side of [her] face and threatened to give her a ‘Glasgow smile’ in retaliation for her previous statements”.

Mr Combs then ripped off her clothes and “violently” raped her with a television remote control, the documents say.

During the ordeal, Mr Combs allegedly told her that her life was in his hands and that, if he so desired, she would never be seen again.

On Wednesday, Diddy’s lawyers told “Extra” they are not responding to the specific accusations, instead slamming the avalanche of lawsuits being filed against him, saying “these swirling allegations have created a hysterical media circus that, if left unchecked, will irreparably deprive Mr. Combs of a fair trial, if they haven’t already.”
