OnePlus may be leaving US and European markets this week

A recent report has highlighted that OnePlus may soon be leaving the US and European markets, which may eventually lead to it shutting down global operations. While there does not seem to be any solid proof to this, it’s not the first time such reports have come out, but since it was not refuted this time, the reports of OnePlus global withdrawal have only increased.

What might happen after?

According to the report from Winfuture.de (who are usually a very credible source of leaks), after all the stocks are depleted, OnePlus will leave the US and European markets. OPPO will then move in and take over. It does not mention what happens to existing OnePlus device owners, but it would be nice if they at least keep putting out updates for another year or so for Malaysians and other global OnePlus users.

To be honest, we’ll miss the OnePlus “flagship killer” days the most, but what do you think? Is this really the last week for OnePlus? As always with such rumours, we would recommend that you take it with a pinch of salt but do share your thoughts in the comments below. Stay tuned to TechNave.com for more updates on tech.
