JAECOO J5 EV Makes Public Appearance in Malaysia at Oh My Meow Expo 2026

Featuring a front-mounted electric motor that delivers 155 kW and 288 Nm of torque alongside a 58.9 kWh CATL Lithium Iron Phosphate battery with a WLTP driving range of up to 402 KM, the JAECOO J5 EV uses Active Grille Shutter technology for improved airflow efficiency. It also offers Level 2+ Advanced Driver Assistance Systems with 19 safety features, a 540-degree HD surround-view camera system, and an intuitive 13.2-inch 2K central display. 

Aimed at pet lovers and families, the large cabin showcases a 1.45 square meter panoramic glass roof, noise-minimizing double-glazed front side windows, a stable rear multi-link suspension, and dual-zone automatic climate control. It also offers 35 smart integrated storage spaces, a 35-litre front trunk, a 480-litre rear cargo area, and a Vehicle-to-Load feature to power external electrical electronics directly from the vehicle.
