Pooja Hegde has been roped in to do a dance number in Rajinikanth's Coolie. According to reports, she has completed shooting her portions for the film.

Pooja Hegde is the latest addition to the cast of Superstar Rajinikanth and director Lokesh Kanagaraj's Coolie. The makers confirmed her inclusion in the film with a stunning picture of her in a shimmery red gown. Rumours were rife that Pooja will do a special dance number in Coolie and has already shot for the same.

Sun Pictures teased fans with a picture covering Pooja's face in the poster they released on February 26 and asked fans to guess the actor. A day later, the production house shared the official poster and wrote, "Yes, you guessed it right! @hegdepooja from the sets of #Coolie (sic)."

Pooja Hegde's special song is likely to come at a crucial point in the film. Director Lokesh Kanagaraj, who has refrained from having any special songs in the film, has made an exception for Coolie.

Coolie is an action-packed entertainer that is centred on gold smuggling mafia. The film features an ensemble cast including Nagarjuna, Upendra, Shruti Haasan, Sathyaraj, Soubin Shahir, Sundeep Kishan and Reba Monica John in key roles. Reports suggest that Aamir Khan will be seen in a cameo role.
