Iga Swiatek continued her brilliant run of form in the Australian Open 2025 as she breezed past the challenge from the former US Open champion Emma Raducanu in straight sets on Saturday, January 18. Swiatek defeated Raducanu in straight sets with a scoreline of 6-1, 6-0 in what was a show of pure dominance from the Polish star, who is yet to lose a set in Melbourne so far.
Raducanu, who was competing in her first-ever third round clash at the Australian Open, had claimed that she was embracing the underdog tag against Swiatek. The first service from the Polish star sort of set the tone for the entire match as she completely dominated Raducanu.
