Mohanlal returned as the iconic character in the much-awaited third instalment of the blockbuster thriller franchise, which released in theatres on May 21 coinciding with the superstar's birthday.

Soon after the first shows began, audiences started sharing their reactions online, especially praising the film’s first half, emotional moments, and Mohanlal’s screen presence.

FANS PRAISE THRILLING FIRST HALF

Fans on X described the interval sequence as “absolute cinema”, while many also called the actor’s entry scene a major “whistle podu” moment in theatres.

One user wrote, “#Drishyam3 very good first half. Interval block too good. #Mohanlal as usual very very good. Interval block creates great curiosity for the second half. 2nd half has been great for Drishyam and Drishyam2 so high hopes for the 2nd half. Looks like a blockbuster loading (sic).”
