Google Pixel 11 launched: Top specs, features, India price and everything else to know

Google has taken the wraps off the Pixel 11 series with four phones – the Pixel 11, 11 Pro, 11 Pro XL, and the 11 Pro Fold. From the new design and features to the India prices, here are all the details about Google's latest smartphones, and when you can buy them.

The Google Pixel series is one of the most highly anticipated launches of the year, and the case was no different for the Pixel 11 lineup. The company launched four new Pixel devices – the Pixel 11, Pixel 11 Pro, Pixel 11 Pro XL, and the Pixel 11 Pro Fold – during the Made by Google event last night in New York.

Right off the bat, the new Pixel 11 phones come with some key upgrades, be it fresh colours, a new chipset, better cameras, and even the HiLight feature for the Pro and Fold models. Apart from these changes, Google is doubling down on AI on the Pixel devices with new Gemini features too. Here is everything you need to know about the Google Pixel 11 series.

Google Pixel 11 launch and price in India

Pricing has become tricky in 2026 as smartphone makers face rising memory costs, and Google is not immune either. The Pixel 11 starts at Rs 89,999 in India, up from Rs 79,999 for the Pixel 10. But you get double the base storage at 256GB instead of 128GB.

The Google Pixel 11 Pro is priced at Rs 1,19,999, up from Rs 1,09,999 last year, again with double the storage. But there is a twist. The Pro Pixels now start at 12GB of RAM instead of 16GB in older Pixels. Similarly, the Pixel 11 Pro XL is priced at Rs 1,34,999.

The Pixel 11 Pro Fold sees the biggest increase in price as it costs Rs 1,86,999. Its predecessor, the Pixel 10 Pro Fold was available for Rs 1,72,999 in India. The foldable Pixel comes in a single 16GB/512GB variant.

Google has opened pre-orders for all the Pixel 11 devices. You can also get an instant cashback of Rs 10,000, along with a Rs 9,000 exchange bonus. The Pixel 11 series goes on sale on August 20.

Google Pixel 11 top specs

Display: The Pixel 11 uses a 6.3-inch OLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 3,000 nits peak brightness. The Pixel 11 Pro uses an 6.3-inch LTPO OLED panel with 3,600 nits of peak brightness. The Pixel 11 Pro XL uses a similar 6.8-inch unit.

The Pixel 11 Pro Fold gets an 8-inch inner OLED display, paired with a 6.5-inch OLED cover screen.

Chipset: All four Pixel 11 phones run on Google’s new Tensor G6 chip. The company says that this chipset brings up to 15 per cent faster app loading and much quicker on-device AI work, while using less power.

Rear cameras: The Pixel 11 gets a triple rear camera setup – a new 48-megapixel main sensor, a 13-megapixel ultrawide and a 10.8-megapixel 5x telephoto. The Pixel 11 Pro and Pro XL step up to a 50-megapixel main sensor, a 48-megapixel ultrawide and a 48-megapixel 5x telephoto.

Meanwhile, the Pixel 11 Pro Fold uses a 48-megapixel wide, 10.5-megapixel ultrawide and 10.8-megapixel 5x telephoto setup.

Front cameras: On the front, the vanilla Pixel 11 gets a 10.5-megapixel front camera, while the Pro and Pro XL pack in a 42-megapixel selfie shooter. The Pro Fold gets two 10-megapixel sensors – one for each screen.

Battery: The Pixel 11 packs a 4,985mAh battery, while the Pixel 11 Pro has a 4,850mAh unit. The Pro XL carries the biggest battery at 5,115mAh, while the Pixel 11 Pro Fold uses a 4,750mAh cell.

Charging: The Pixel 11, 11 Pro, and the 11 Pro Fold support up to 30W wired fast charging, while the Pixel 11 Pro XL bumps it up to 45W. Google says that the Pro XL can charge up to 75 per cent in 30 minutes.

All four phones support Qi2.2 wireless charging up to 25W and come with Pixel Snap, aka MagSafe support.

Software: The Pixel 11 series run on Android 17 and promise a clean Android experience. Google is promising seven years of OS, security and Pixel Drop updates, while the Pro phones get six months of Google AI Pro access.

Storage: The base Pixel 11 gets 12GB of RAM with 256GB or 512GB storage. The Pixel 11 Pro and Pro XL ship with 12GB RAM on the 256GB variant, while higher storage versions go up to 16GB.

Durability: All four phones come with an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance.

The new features for the Pixel 11 series are less about one dramatic trick and more about making the phones feel smarter in day-to-day use. Google has managed to bring in some notable performance and efficiency gains with the Tensor G6 chipset across all models.

A key highlight of the Pixel 11 Pro models was the HiLight (no pun intended). You get a small light ring surrounding the flash on the three phones that lights up for calls or when you are using Google Gemini. Google does plan to add more functionality to the HiLight soon.

Speaking of which, Google is leaning hard into Gemini Intelligence. The Pixel 11 range can handle more task automation across apps, and Gemini can even dial businesses to help complete bookings and orders.

New additions include Gboard Rambler, which cleans up dictated text by removing filler words, Proactive Assistance for contextual suggestions, and a location-aware At a Glance experience that can surface store cards or restaurant information. Live Translate is also expanding beyond calls to supported videos and podcasts.

On top of that the Pixel 11 gets a much larger main sensor, while the Pro and Pro XL have received upgrades to the main and telephoto cameras. Google has also added new AI camera features including Magic Capture that is designed to pick the best HDR-plus photos and videos from a burst of frames, which should help users stay in the moment instead of tapping away.

Camera Looks lets users apply different visual styles at the time of capture, so photos can look warmer, moodier or cleaner straight out of the camera. Instant Night Sight is meant to speed up low-light shooting, while features such as Pro Stable Video, Creator Suite tools and Sign-to-Text on the Fold push the new Pixels further towards creator-friendly and accessibility-focused use.
