Ultraviolette's F99 Factory Custom Platform, as it is called, was first showcased at EICMA, Milan, back in 2023.
by Auto Today · India TodayUltraviolette has unveiled the F99 electric superbike and claims that it is the first superbike from India. That’s not all, Ultraviolette also claims that over the next 90 days, the F99 will set the record for the highest top speed by an Indian motorcycle and claim the record for the fastest quarter-mile for an Indian motorcycle. The F99 has been designed and engineered at the company’s R&D hub in Bengaluru.
The Ultraviolette F99 is powered by a 90kW liquid-cooled motor, which the company claims helps this electric superbike do the 0-100kmph run in three seconds. The claimed top speed sits at 265kmph and the F99 tips the scale at 178kg. Design-wise, the F99 looks sharp and is said to draw inspiration from supersonic jets. The winglets, air ducts and aggressive riding position all make the F99 look the part.
Currently, the Ultraviolette F77 Mach is available in five cities through the brand’s network of ‘Space Stations’. These have been set up in Hyderabad, Kochi, Ahmedabad, Pune and Bengaluru so far. The cities of Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Visakhapatnam and Mangalore will be getting their own Ultraviolette stores in the next month. We expect the F99 electric superbike to arrive sometime in 2025.
