Allu Arjun has given a shoutout to Ram Charan after watching Peddi, calling his performance "mind-blowing." He said he was proud of the actor's work in the film. The star also extended his support to Janhvi Kapoor, whose character in the sports drama has sparked debate among viewers.
On Monday, Allu Arjun shared his review of Buchi Babu Sana's directorial on X, which hit theatres on June 4 following paid premieres a day earlier.
“Watched #Peddi last night. Mind-blowing performance by my dear @AlwaysRamCharan. A Gritty, raw performance, extraordinary body transformation, and graceful dance moves. He absolutely aced it in every aspect. Genuinely very proud of my brother. Truly deserves every bit of the applause (sic),” he wrote.
Apart from praising Ram Charan, Allu also acknowledged the contributions of the film's cast and crew. He singled out Jagapathi Babu for appreciation and sent his wishes to Janhvi Kapoor.
“Striking performance by @IamJagguBhai garu and all the other artists. Love to the leading lady, #JanhviKapoor (sic).”
The actor further congratulated the technicians and producers associated with Peddi. He extended special praise to director Buchi Babu Sana, crediting him for elevating every performer in the film and presenting Ram Charan in a powerful light. Janhvi Kapoor plays Achiyyamma in Peddi, the daughter of a local politician. Her role has become a talking point online, with some viewers criticising the way the character is portrayed and certain romantic scenes involving her in the film.
Meanwhile, Allu Arjun is preparing for his next big-screen outing, Raaka, a large-scale sci-fi entertainer directed by Atlee. The film also stars Deepika Padukone in a lead role.
