The trailer launch event took place at Gandhi Maidan in Patna with a gathering of thousands. The organisers had sold passes for the event, but the crowd seemed uncontrollable. Several reports suggested that the fans created chaos and the police were trying to do their best to manage everything.

It is your love for the film that has made Pushpa 2 the most anticipated film in the country for the last two years. It is you who have made this film this big."
He added, "On behalf of the Pushpa team, I thank you for making this event such a big success. The police, organisers, crowd and above all, my fans. This film is releasing on December 5, worldwide. I am extremely honoured to launch this film today. I am never going to forget this experience. Thank you. Jai Hind (sic)."
