Dhurandhar: The Revenge continues its remarkable theatrical run, crossing a major milestone on Day 20. The Ranveer Singh-led spy thriller has now overtaken Baahubali 2: The Conclusion to emerge as the second-biggest earners (in terms of nett collection) in Indian cinema.

Directed by Aditya Dhar, the film has collected Rs 1,033.37 crore nett (gross minus taxes) in India, surpassing SS Rajamouli’s Baahubali 2, which had a lifetime nett collection of Rs 1,030.42 crore, as per trade website Sacnilk.

According to industry tracking site, Dhurandhar 2 earned Rs 10.10 crore on its 20th day (Tuesday) in theatres. The film has shown strong consistency in its third week, largely holding steady despite the usual weekday dips. On Day 19, it collected Rs 10 crore, taking its total to Rs 1,023.77 crore nett before crossing the historic mark a day later.

The film’s India gross currently stands at Rs 1,237.21 crore, while its worldwide earnings have reached Rs 1,622.72 crore. Even in its third week, Dhurandhar 2 has largely managed to stay above the Rs 10 crore mark on several days, reflecting sustained audience interest.

With this, the film has become the second-highest grosser in Indian cinema. Its next target is to surpass Pushpa 2: The Rise, which holds the top spot with Rs 1,234.10 crore nett in India.

The film has already outperformed several major blockbusters, including KGF: Chapter 2 (Rs 859.70 crore), RRR (Rs 782.20 crore), and Kalki 2898 AD (Rs 646 crore) domestically in terms of nett collection, cementing its box office dominance.

A sequel to the 2025 hit Dhurandhar, the film delves into the origins of Ranveer Singh’s character, Jaskirat Singh Rangi. Set against the backdrop of Lyari, the story traces his rise as a powerful figure while he attempts to dismantle a terror network operating out of Pakistan.

Apart from Ranveer Singh, the film features R Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, Rakesh Bedi, and Sanjay Dutt in key roles.
