Pati Patni...box office Day 7: Film fails to beat predecessor's 1st week collection
Pati Patni Aur Woh Do ended its first week in theatres with slowing collections across weekdays. The drop leaves the film trailing its predecessor and facing fresh pressure from new releases this Friday.

Pati Patni Aur Woh Do, starring Ayushmann Khurrana, Sara Ali Khan, Wamiqa Gabbi and Rakul Preet Singh, has completed its first week in theatres with a slowdown at the box office. After a decent opening weekend, the film saw a steady decline in collections through the weekdays and has not matched the pace of its predecessor, Pati Patni Aur Woh.
Directed by Mudassar Aziz, the romantic comedy opened to mixed reviews, which appears to have affected its theatrical run. According to box office tracker Sacnilk, the film earned Rs 2 crore in India on Day 7 across 4,940 shows, down 27.3 per cent from its Day 6 collection.
With its seventh-day earnings, the film's total India gross collection stands at Rs 34.43 crore, while its India nett collection has reached Rs 29 crore. In the overseas market, the film added Rs 50 lakh on Day 7, taking its international gross total to Rs 5.85 crore. Its worldwide gross collection now stands at Rs 40.28 crore.

Apart from Ayushmann Khurrana, Sara Ali Khan, Wamiqa Gabbi and Rakul Preet Singh, the Mudassar Aziz-directed film also features Vijay Raaz, Tigmanshu Dhulia, Vishal Vashishtha, Guneet Singh Sodhi, Durgesh Kumar, Ayesha Raza Mishra, Shireesh Kumar Sharma and Deepika Amini in key roles.
The film was released in theatres on May 15.
