  • The Redmi K100 Pro Max packs a 9,070mAh battery

Redmi has introduced the Redmi K100 Pro and K100 Pro Max in China. Their predecessor – the K90 Pro, which launched last year - is already known as the brand’s performance-focused smartphone. Now, the new smartphones take that formula much further with a faster 185Hz refresh rate, a larger 9,070mAh battery, and a powerful 200-megapixel main camera. The India launch of both devices remains an unknown factor at the moment.

Redmi K100 Pro Max specifications

The Redmi K100 Pro Max comes with a 6.9-inch flat OLED display with a 2,608 x 1,200-pixel resolution. The screen supports an unusually high 185Hz refresh rate and uses M11 luminescent material, which should make scrolling and gaming feel smoother.

Under the hood, the phone is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 V-series chipset. Redmi has also equipped it with a large 6,300mm cooling chamber to help manage heat during demanding tasks such as gaming.

For cameras, the K100 Pro Max gets a 200-megapixel main camera with OIS, along with a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto camera and a 50-megapixel ultra-wide camera. On the front, the smartphone carries a 32-megapixel camera.

The biggest highlight, however, is its battery. The phone packs a 9,070mAh battery with support for 100W wired charging and 50W wireless charging. It also supports wired and wireless reverse charging, allowing the phone to charge other devices.

Redmi K100 Pro specifications

The Redmi K100 Pro is the smaller and more affordable model of the two. It features a 6.59-inch OLED display with a 2,510 x 1,156-pixel resolution and the same 185Hz refresh rate as the Pro Max.

The phone is powered by the same Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 V-series chipset and also gets a dedicated AI gaming display chip designed to improve gaming performance and frame stability.

The camera setup includes a 200-megapixel main camera, a 50-megapixel telephoto camera and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera. It also gets a 32-megapixel front camera and a 10cm telephoto macro lens for close-up photography.

The K100 Pro packs an 8,580mAh battery and supports the same charging options as the Pro Max.

Both smartphones come with IP66, IP68 and IP69 protection and run Android 16-based HyperOS 3.0 out of the box.

Redmi K100 Pro series price

The Redmi K100 Pro starts at CNY 3,699 (around Rs 52,400) in China, while the K100 Pro Max starts at CNY 4,499 (around Rs 63,700) for the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage variant. Redmi has not announced India pricing or availability yet.
