Kichcha Sudeep in tears as he hugs Basavaraj Bommai at his mother's funeral

Actor Kichcha Sudeep was inconsolable at his mother Saroja Sanjeev's funeral. He broke down in politician Basavaraj Bommai's arms.

Kannada actor Kichcha Sudeep couldn’t control his tears as politician Basavaraj Bommai came to pay tribute to the actor’s mother Saroja Sanjeev’s funeral. The politician shared pictures of him consoling Sudeep, who was inconsolable tears while hugging him. Saroja Sanjeevi died on Sunday, October 20, morning in Bengaluru.

Former chief minister of Karnataka, Basavaraj Bommai shared the emotional moment with Sudeep on X. The politician met Sudeep and rest of the family members and condoled Saroja Sanjeev’s demise.

Earlier in the day, he remembered Saroja and posted a throwback picture of her with Sudeep. His post in Kannada is loosely translated as, “I am deeply saddened to hear the news of the passing away of Smt Saroja, the mother of the famous film actor and dear @KicchaSudeep . I pray to God to grant actor Sudeep and his family members the strength to bear the grief of their mother's death and may the departed soul rest in eternal peace. Om Shanti (sic).”

Saroja was 86 years old and was reportedly receiving treatment at a private hospital in Bengaluru. Here health deteriorated and she died at around 7 am. Her last rites took place at her residence in Bengaluru.
