On April 27, Kulkarni shared a couple of pictures and a video enjoying his visit to Pahalgam and local delicacies at a shop. In a photo, he can be seen posing at the "I love Pahalgam" photo booth.
His Hindi caption is loosely translated as saying, "This is the property of India. Courage is heavier than fear. This is the property of India. The hate is lost to love. Let's go to Kashmir. Let's go to Sindh, Jhelum shore. I have come, you also come (sic)," with the hashtags #Chalokashmir, #Feet_in_Kashmir, #Kashmiriyat, #love_compassion and #DefeatTerror.

Speaking to ANI, Atul Kulkarni said that he wanted to visit Pahalgam to send out a message to the world.
"The incident that took place on 22nd April has made the entire country sad. I read that 90 per cent of bookings have been cancelled here. The message that the terrorists are giving is not to come to Kashmir. This is not going to happen. This is our Kashmir, our country, and we will come here. This is the answer we should give to the ideology of terrorists. I could not give this message staying in Mumbai, so I came here. If I can come, then the rest of the country can also come here. We should come here and not get scared," he explained.
Atul Kulkarni also shared glimpses of his Kashmir visit on his Instagram Stories. From sharing pictures of an almost empty flight to interacting with the locals, he urged his followers to visit Kashmir. A few locals were also seen condemning the attack. Take a look:
