Bollywood star and producer Anil Kapoor has paid a touching tribute to Oscar-winning actor Gene Hackman, who died at 95. Hackman's reason for demise is as yet unknown.
Sharing multiple photos on X, Kapoor wrote, "Cannot believe the world no longer has Gene Hackman in it...His effortless performances in films like ‘The French Connection,’ ‘Unforgiven,’ and ‘The Firm’ are just a few times the world witnessed his genius. A true legend whose legacy will live on. Rest in peace (sic)."

Hackman was found dead along with his wife, Betsy, and a dog, at their New Mexico house on Wednesday afternoon. As reported by the Santa Fe New Mexican website, the police didn't immediately suspect foul play in the case while the investigation continues. The report quoted Santa Fe County Sheriff, Adan Mendoza, confirming that the two-time Oscar-winning actor died along with his dog and wife.
The actor was 95, while his wife was 63. The police are yet to announce the cause of their death.
