The guest list remained intentionally intimate, with around 150 attendees comprising family members, close friends and a handful of industry colleagues. Among those present were Aamir's children Junaid Khan and Ira Khan, along with Ira's husband, Nupur Shikhare. Aamir and Gauri have known each other for nearly 25 years, but reconnected a little over two years ago through the actor's cousin, Nuzhat Khan, in Bengaluru. Their friendship soon blossomed into a relationship, and they dated for over two years before tying the knot. Aamir introduced Gauri to the public in March last year during the celebrations for his 60th birthday.

Originally from Bengaluru, Gauri has a son from her previous marriage and previously worked in the haircare industry. She now lives in Mumbai and is associated with Aamir Khan Productions.
