CP Radhakrishnan takes oath, becomes India's 15th Vice-President

Chandrapuram Ponnusamy Radhakrishnan took oath, administered by President Droupadi Murmu, as the 15th Vice President of India. Rashtrapati Bhavan on Friday. 

The 67-year-old veteran BJP leader from Tamil Nadu won the vice-presidential election against INDIA bloc candidate former Supreme Court Judge Sudershan Reddy. Radhakrishnan secured 452 votes, while Reddy secured 300 votes.
