26/11 plotter Tahawwur Rana's custody extended by NIA court for 12 days
by India Today Web Desk · India TodayThe National Investigation Agency (NIA) court on Monday extended the 26/11 terror attack accused Tahawwur Rana's custody for 12 days.
Speaking to ANI, Piyush Sachdev, the counsel representing Rana, said, "The accused has been sent into custody for 12 more days. NIA wants to confront him with more evidence. NIA said they need more time. Tahawwur Rana is under investigation. I have been meeting him very regularly."
Tahawwur Rana was taken to the NIA headquarters in Delhi after the court extended his custody.
