Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) winger Ousmane Dembele is set to make his return to the squad after a brief absence due to a conflict with head coach Luis Enrique. The French international, who missed PSG’s Champions League clash against Arsenal, has reconciled with his coach following an apology and will be available for the Ligue 1 fixture against Nice, according to reports from TuttoMercatoWeb (TMW).

Dembélé, 27, was notably left out of the squad that traveled to London for the match against Arsenal, a decision that raised eyebrows after PSG's 2-0 defeat. With Dembélé being one of PSG's key creative outlets this season, particularly after Kylian Mbappé’s departure to Real Madrid, his absence from the game drew criticism from fans and pundits alike. Dembélé has been instrumental in PSG's solid start to the domestic campaign, contributing four goals and three assists in six Ligue 1 appearances.

The exclusion was reportedly due to a disagreement between the player and coach, though Enrique later clarified that the issue was related to Dembélé’s "commitment to the team" rather than a personal conflict. Speaking in a press conference before the match against Nice, Enrique stated, "There is just a problem of commitment toward the team, it’s not a problem between the player and the coach."

Despite rumors of a verbal clash after PSG's 3-1 win over Rennes, in which Dembélé recorded an assist, both player and manager have since resolved their differences. The French winger has acknowledged his mistakes and apologized, and the PSG coach is ready to welcome him back into the squad.

"There are responsibilities that all players must fulfill," said Luis Enrique. "If someone makes a serious mistake, I make the appropriate decisions, even if they are difficult. I can be tough when needed, and lenient when necessary. But no one makes these decisions for me."

Dembélé's return to the squad comes as a boost for PSG as they look to reclaim the top spot in Ligue 1. The Parisians are set to face Nice today, October 6, with Dembélé included in the 21-man squad traveling to the French Riviera.

The return of the dynamic winger will be a welcome sight for PSG fans, as the club aims to bounce back from their midweek Champions League disappointment and continue their strong domestic form.
