Kanguva box office Day 6: Suriya's film mints Rs 60 crore in India
Suriya and director Siva's Kanguva is holding steady in theatres during the weekdays. The fantasy action drama finally earned Rs 60 crore nett in India.

Tamil actor Suriya and director Siva's recently released film, Kanguva, is holding steady in theatres by earning Rs 3 crore each on Monday (November 18) and Tuesday (November 19). In six days, Kanguva has earned nearly Rs 60 crore nett in India. The film received a lukewarm response ever since it hit theatres on November 14. It is to be seen if Kanguva will pick up momentum during the weekend.
Kanguva failed to pass the Monday test as it witnessed nearly 70 per cent fall on Monday, November 18. On Day 6, November 19, the film earned Rs 3.15 crore, which is almost the same as Day 5 numbers. As of now, Kanguva is holding strong, but it has to see an increase in collection during its second weekend for it to sustain in theatres.
The six-day total collection of Kanguva now stands at Rs 59.90 crore nett at the domestic box office. On November 19, the Tamil version of the film had an overall occupancy of 12.79 per cent in India.

Kanguva started its theatrical run on a slow note. The film received mixed talk right from its first shows in India and overseas. After negative feedback, the makers trimmed 12 minutes of footage and rectified the loud audio issues.
The trimmed version of Kanguva started running in theatres from November 19.

Directed by Siva, Kanguva features Suriya in two roles, alongside Bobby Deol and Disha Patani. Produced by Studio Green and UV Creations, the film was made on a mammoth budget of nearly Rs 350 crore.
