MLA Rohit Pawar's aide's daughter, 12, found dead in Baramati

The 14-year-old daughter of Nationalist Congress Party (Sharadchandra Pawar) MLA Rohit Pawar's personal assistant was found dead under suspicious circumstances in Baramati, Maharashtra, on Sunday morning, hours after she went missing following an argument with her mother.
The girl had been missing since around 4 pm on Saturday. Her family subsequently approached the police, and a missing-person and kidnapping complaint was registered at Baramati Taluka police station late Saturday night.
Police launched a search operation and deployed three teams to trace the teenager. Her body was found at around 8.30 am on Sunday in a drain near her residence.
GIRL WENT MISSING AFTER ARGUMENT
According to Baramati Deputy Superintendent of Police Chaitanya Kadam, the girl had left home after an argument with her mother on Saturday afternoon.
During the search operation, police found the girl's slippers on the terrace of a building adjacent to her residence. The terrace door was also found closed, Kadam said.
Police are examining the circumstances surrounding her disappearance and death, including her movements after she left home.
ROHIT PAWAR VISITS HOSPITAL
After learning about the incident, Rohit Pawar reached Baramati Medical College and Hospital, where the girl's body was taken.
The MLA has called for a thorough investigation into the circumstances surrounding the teenager's death.
Police are examining all possible angles and gathering evidence as part of the investigation. The circumstances leading to the girl's death have not yet been established.
The body has been sent for post-mortem examination, which is expected to provide further information about the cause of death.
The incident has caused concern in Baramati, with police continuing to investigate the teenager's disappearance and subsequent death. Further details are awaited as investigators examine CCTV footage, witness accounts and other available evidence.
