Ramayana trailer: Ranbir Kapoor-Yash epic to get a grand launch on July 24

The makers of Nitesh Tiwari's Ramayana have confirmed that the film's trailer will be unveiled on July 24. Starring Ranbir Kapoor, Yash, Sunny Deol and Sai Pallavi in key roles, the much-awaited mythological epic is set to kick off its promotional campaign with the grand launch.

The countdown to the trailer launch of director Nitesh Tiwari's much-awaited epic Ramayana has officially begun. After weeks of speculation, the makers have confirmed that the film's trailer will be unveiled on July 24, marking the beginning of its promotional campaign.

The announcement has further heightened anticipation for the ambitious mythological epic, with the trailer expected to offer audiences their most detailed look yet at the film's grand scale, visual spectacle and star-studded cast.

The makers shared a note on Instagram that read, “From Bharat to the world. For thousands of years, the Ramayana has inspired generations through its timeless ideals of dharma, maryada, courage and compassion. Now it begins a new journey. One of Bharat’s greatest civilisational epics, presented to the world at a scale never attempted before in Indian cinema.”

They captioned the post and wrote, “From Bharat to the world, the Ramayana trailer premieres worldwide on 24th July, 2026 (sic).”

The large-scale event will reportedly offer audiences their most extensive look yet at the ambitious film that reportedly has a Rs 4,000 crore budget.

The grand event marks the next major milestone in the film's promotional journey after months of anticipation generated by its first-look assets and production updates.

The film’s trailer launch is slated to take place in New Delhi. Director Nitesh Tiwari and producer Namit Malhotra are expected to attend the trailer launch, along with several members of the cast.

The upcoming epic drama stars Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Ram, Sai Pallavi as Sita, Ravie Dubey as Lakshman, Rakul Preet Singh as Surpanakha, and Kunal Kapoor as Lord Indra, Yash as Ravana, and Sunny Deol as Hanuman.

Directed by Nitesh Tiwari and produced by Namit Malhotra’s Prime Focus Studios in association with 8-time Oscar-winning VFX studio DNEG and Yash’s Monster Mind Creations, the two-part epic will release in IMAX worldwide — Part 1 in Diwali 2026 and Part 2 in Diwali 2027.
