Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Karnataka governments permitted early morning shows in many theatres. Director Shankar's Game Changer is a political entertainer produced on a massive budget of nearly Rs 450 crore. Tamil director Karthik Subbaraj has written the film's story, which Shankar developed with his team of writers. The film features an ensemble cast with Ram Charan playing two roles.
