Actor Saif Ali Khan suffered severe injuries after he was stabbed multiple times at his Bandra house during a burglary attempt in the wee hours on Wednesday. The actor had a scuffle with the intruder who went to his youngest son Jehangir's room where a house help spotted him.

The house help tried to protect the child but the assailant, who was wielding weapons in both hands, attacked her. Hearing the commotion, Saif and his wife Kareena Kapoor rushed to the room and Saif was injured in the scuffle. Though it is not clear how the attacker managed to break into Saif's house, CCTV cameras captured his pictures, after which police detained one suspect on Thursday.

The Mumbai Police have formed 35 teams to track down the intruder who attacked the actor and one of his staff members.

  3. CCTV: Visuals of the unidentified intruder who repeatedly stabbed actor Saif Ali Khan inside his flat have been traced on the sixth floor of the building, news agency PTI reported, citing police sources.
