Inside Anshula Kapoor's vibrant bridal look, from layered emeralds to coral lehenga

Anshula Kapoor married Rohan Thakkar in an intimate ceremony attended by family and friends. Her coral, gold and emerald bridal palette stood out, but the most beautiful accessory was her smile!

In an era when celebrity brides have largely embraced muted ivories, Anshula Kapoor chose to go in a different direction. For her intimate wedding with longtime partner Rohan Thakkar, she embraced a palette rooted in traditional Indian bridal dressing – warm coral, rich gold and emerald green – while letting her infectious smile become the defining accessory of the day.

Anshula's bridal ensemble, designed by Tarun Tahiliani, centred around a coral-peach lehenga that featured intricate embroidery with traditional woven motifs. The skirt featured densely worked paisley and floral patterns in shades of blush, gold and deeper coral. The blouse, cut with a sweetheart neckline, carried intricate zardozi-style embroidery.

Draped over her shoulders was a heavily embroidered antique gold dupatta, framed with a vibrant coral and pink woven border. Instead of wearing the veil over her head through the ceremony, Anshula opted for a softer styling, pinning a blush-pink veil behind her sleek bun.

The jewellery was unmistakably maximalist, typical for a North Indian bride. Around her neck sat an elaborate kundan choker accented with pearls and emeralds, followed by a kundan-emerald sita haar.

The look was regal, indeed.

A classic round maang tikka sat neatly along her centre parting, while a tiny red bindi added a traditional finishing touch. She ditched oversized bridal naths or elaborate matha pattis which we have seen become a thing in a lot of celebrity weddings. Her wrists were equally adorned, with a mix of gold and kundan bangles punctuated by traditional matching bridal chooda bangles.

Rohan Thakkar, meanwhile, chose an ensemble that complemented his bride's vibrant attire. He wore a champagne-beige sherwani woven with subtle metallic thread work that caught the light without appearing overly ornate. The sherwani was paired with an ivory churidar and a matching satin stole draped effortlessly over one shoulder.

His champagne silk safa was finished with an elegant sarpech featuring kundan work and emerald drops, tying in seamlessly with Anshula's emerald jewellery.

Anshula and Rohan who finally said 'I do' in a wedding attended by close family and friends, are said to have met on a dating app in 2022. Rohan proposed to Anshula in New York City's Central Park in July 2025.
