TIGHT SECURITY FOR QUESTION PAPERS
A total of seven examination centres have been designated across schools in Chandigarh for the smooth conduct of NEET-UG 2026. The transportation of secret/confidential examination materials from the designated banks to all examination centres will be carried out under strict security escort by the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF), along with the respective Centre Superintendent.
These measures will ensure the complete integrity and safety of the question papers at every stage of the examination process.
ANTI-CHEATING AND SURVEILLANCE MEASURES
Electronic jammers have been installed at all examination centres to prevent the use of electronic/mobile devices and curb the adoption of any unfair means during the examination.
A double-layer frisking process will be conducted for all candidates at the entry points to prevent the use of any prohibited items:
- First Level: By the Local Police.
- Second Level: By a professional agency specifically engaged by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for this purpose.
CANDIDATE FACILITIES AND ADMINISTRATIVE OVERSIGHT
All basic amenities, including drinking water, seating arrangements, adequate lighting, ventilation, and sanitation facilities, are provided at all examination centres to ensure the convenience and comfort of candidates.
Duty Magistrates have been appointed at each examination centre to monitor the entire examination process, maintain law and order, and address any exigencies that may arise during the examination.
All candidates are advised to carry their Admit Card and a valid Government-issued Photo ID on the day of the examination. Candidates are requested to report to their respective centres at least one hour before the commencement of the examination.
The District Administration appeals to candidates, their guardians, and the public to extend their full cooperation for the smooth conduct of NEET-UG 2026.
