Google Pixel 11 vs Pixel 11 Pro: What does Rs 30,000 extra get you, specs and features compared

Google Pixel 11 and Pixel 11 Pro launched with the new Tensor G6 chipset, brighter displays and upgraded cameras to Google's flagship lineup. Here's how the two phones compare on specs, battery, features and price in India.

Google has rolled out the Pixel 11 series in India, expanding its Pixel series lineup. Among other variants of the new Pixel 11 series, both the standard Pixel 11 and Pixel 11 Pro feature Google’s latest Tensor G6 chipset, brighter displays, upgraded cameras, and bigger batteries. However, the Pixel 11 Pro steps things up with a more advanced display, more RAM on higher-storage variants, and a significantly more capable camera setup. Here’s how the two new Google phones compare.

Design

The Pixel 11 and Pixel 11 Pro keep a similar design approach, with both phones featuring a premium glass build, a horizontal camera bar and IP68 protection against dust and water.

The Pixel 11 is the more compact of the two. It measures 152.8 x 72 x 8.6mm and weighs 197g. While the Pixel 11 Pro is slightly thinner at 8.4mm, it is marginally heavier at 204g.

The standard Pixel 11 is available in four colourways: Frost, Pistachio, Hibiscus, and Obsidian, and gets a Gorilla Glass Victus 2 back. And the Pixel 11 Pro comes in Canyon, Olive, Fog and Obsidian finishes, along with the same Gorilla Glass Victus 2 back.

Display

Display is one of the first areas where the Pixel 11 Pro pulls ahead.

The Pixel 11 features a 6.3-inch Actua OLED display with a 1080 x 2424-pixel resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The screen can reach up to 2,000 nits in HDR mode and 3,000 nits at peak brightness.

The Pixel 11 Pro also comes with a 6.3-inch display, but it uses a Super Actua LTPO OLED panel with a sharper 1280 x 2856-pixel resolution. It supports an adaptive refresh rate ranging from 1Hz to 120Hz and reaches up to 2,400 nits in HDR and 3,600 nits at peak brightness.

So, while the screen size is the same, the Pro gets the sharper, brighter and more flexible panel.

Processor

There isn’t much of a difference here. Both phones are powered by Google's latest Tensor G6 chipset, meaning the core performance and AI capabilities are largely shared between the two.

The Pixel 11 comes with 12GB of RAM and either 256GB or 512GB of storage. The Pixel 11 Pro starts with 12GB RAM on the 256GB model, while the 512GB version gets 16GB of RAM.

Google says the Tensor G6 brings faster app loading and quicker on-device AI processing while also improving power efficiency.

Camera

This is where again the Pixel 11 Pro has a much clearer advantage.

The standard Pixel 11 comes with a 48-megapixel main camera with Macro Focus, a 13-megapixel ultra-wide camera and a 10.8-megapixel 5x telephoto camera with OIS. It also gets a 10.5-megapixel autofocus front camera.

The Pixel 11 Pro, meanwhile, features a 50-megapixel main camera, a 48-megapixel ultra-wide camera with Macro Focus and a 48-megapixel 5x telephoto camera with OIS. Selfies are handled by a 42-megapixel autofocus camera, and video recording goes up to 8K at 24/30fps.

So, if photography and video are a priority, the Pro is clearly the more capable option.

Battery

Both phones pack fairly large batteries, although the standard Pixel 11 actually has a slightly higher capacity on paper.

The Pixel 11 houses a 4,985mAh battery, while the Pixel 11 Pro comes with a 4,850mAh cell. Google says both phones can deliver more than 30 hours of battery life.

The Pixel 11 and Pixel 11 Pro support up to 30W wired charging, along with Qi2 wireless charging support.

Google Pixel 11 vs Pixel 11 Pro: Price

The Pixel 11 starts at Rs 89,999 in India, while the Pixel 11 Pro starts at Rs 1,19,999.

Google is also offering launch benefits, including up to Rs 10,000 instant cashback, up to Rs 9,000 exchange bonus and up to 24 months of no-cost EMI on eligible purchases.

So, the Pixel 11 is the more affordable option if you want Google's latest chipset and flagship experience without spending over Rs 1 lakh. The Pro makes more sense for buyers who want a better display, more capable cameras and higher RAM on the top storage variant.
