Jr NTR and director Koratala Siva's Devara: Part 1 had a fantastic opening weekend. The action drama grossed over Rs 250 crore worldwide in just three days and is going strong at the box office. The film earned Rs 40 crore nett on Sunday, September 29, in India. Now, all eyes are on the film's performance during the weekdays. Devara: Part 1 received mixed reviews from critics and audiences alike.

Yuvasudha Arts, the film's production house, on September 29, mentioned that the film collected Rs 243 crore worldwide in two days. The film, with Rs 40 crore (nett) on Sunday, would have crossed Rs 250-crore mark by the end of its opening weekend.

Devara: Part 1, reportedly minted Rs 40.3 crore on September 29, with the Telugu version contributing Rs 27.65 crore and the Hindi version contributing Rs 11 crore. The film recorded a decent collection on Sunday, even though its 50 per cent less than the opening day numbers.

According to Sacnilk, the three-day collection of Devara: Part 1 now amounts to Rs 161 crore nett in India. The Telugu version of the film earned 65.35 per cent on Sunday, September 29.

Written and directed by Koratala Siva, Devara: Part 1 is an action drama, which features Jr NTR in two roles - as father Devara and son Varadha. The film also marks Janhvi Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan's debut in Telugu. Prakash Raj, Shruti Marathe, Srikanth, Shine Tom Chacko, Narain, Kalaiyarasan and Murali Sharma are part of the supporting cast.

Jointly produced by Yuvasudha Arts and NTR Arts, the film's music is composed by Anirudh Ravichander. Editor Sreekar Prasad and cinematographer Rathnavelu are part of the technical team. The film hit theatres on September 27 in multiple languages.
