During his speech he also said, “Kanguva has been made with a lot of love - it’s not for money, but we invested a lot of love and time because we wanted to give you something like Kanguva”. He continued, “When there are fans who shower unconditional love, even if I don’t appear on screen frequently, it feels like the kind of love I’d call a ‘mother’s love.’ I think it’s my responsibility to give them a film like this.”

Reflecting on industry standards, Suriya mentioned the influence of SS Rajamouli’s Baahubali and RRR. He said, “We all have to push ourselves and raise the bar, thanks to Rajamouli sir. He started it all, and KGF and Kantara have shown us the way too. They’ve demonstrated how creative and courageous creators can be and how audiences across our country support good content.”
Speaking further about Kanguva, Suriya added, “With that same intention, Kanguva was made. We have created something that hasn’t been done before; something we can be proud of.” He also shared his experience of working on the film and requested the audiences and fans to support his endeavour. In Tamil, he said, “Oor koodithaan ther izhuka mudiyum,” which means, “Only when the community unites can they move the chariot,” encouraging everyone to support his film collectively.

\Suriya confidently stated, “I’m sure you all will be transported back to a world set 700 to 1,000 years ago, and for two and a half hours, you will be with us in that world.” He paid tribute to art director Milan and editor Nishad Yusuf, who died during production and post-production, praising their contributions and dedicating the film to them. He wrapped up with, “Hoping that on November 14, it will be a celebration in theatres with your love and support across the globe.”
