The makers of Pritam and Pedro have released the trailer of the upcoming series, offering a glimpse into a cybercrime thriller packed with humour, suspense and mystery. Starring Arshad Warsi and debutant Vir Hirani, the show follows an unlikely partnership between a police officer and a hacker as they race against time to solve a dangerous kidnapping case in the digital world.

Released on Monday, the 2-minute-30-second trailer is set against the backdrop of cybercrime and digital investigations. It introduces viewers to Pritam and Pedro, who find themselves entangled in a complex case involving hackers, online surveillance and technological threats.

The series revolves around police officer Pedro, played by Arshad Warsi, whose punishment transfer to the cyber cell forces him to work alongside hacker Pritam, portrayed by Vir Hirani. Together, the duo must save a minister's son from a highly dangerous cybercriminal, played by Vikrant Massey.

The trailer suggests a blend of comedy and tension as the unlikely pair attempt to crack the case while navigating the ever-evolving world of cybercrime.

Another major highlight of the trailer is Vikrant Massey's character. While the makers have kept details about his role under wraps, the footage hints that he could be the primary antagonist driving the conflict.

The series also marks a reunion between Arshad Warsi and filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani. The actor-director duo previously collaborated on the iconic Munna Bhai M.B.B.S. and its sequel, with Warsi's portrayal of Circuit becoming one of the most beloved characters in Hindi cinema.

Adding another interesting connection, Vir Hirani, son of Rajkumar Hirani, is making his acting debut with Pritam and Pedro. Coincidentally, he had appeared briefly as Circuit's son in Munna Bhai M.B.B.S.

Based on Amit Dubey's books Hidden Files and Return of the Trojan Horse, the series also stars Mona Singh, Satyadeep Mishra, Shruti Marathe, Rajesh Sharma and Boman Irani in key roles.

Pritam and Pedro is set to premiere on July 3, 2026, on JioHotstar.
