Amaran box office Day 20: Sivakarthikeyan's film earns Rs 194 crore in India
Sivakarthikeyan and Sai Pallavi's Amaran earned nearly Rs 194 crore nett in India in 20 days. The film grossed Rs 300 crore and is still going strong.

Actors Sivakarthikeyan and Sai Pallavi's Amaran is continuing its dream run in its third week. Though the film's collection has come down to around Rs 2 crore nett in India every day, it is still going houseful in many screens across Tamil Nadu. Trade reports suggest that Amaran's collection could see an incline during its fourth weekend in theatres.
Amaran released in theatres on October 31 and received overwhelming reviews from critics and audiences alike. The film grossed Rs 300 crore worldwide in 19 days is still performing well in theatres.
After a phenomenal third weekend in theatres, Amaran earned Rs 2.10 crore on Tuesday, November 19. This is slightly lower than Day 19 collection.
The 20-day total collection of Amaran now stands at Rs 194.40 crore nett at the domestic box office. The Tamil version of the film recorded an occupancy of 18.61 per cent on November 19.

The biographical war film is an adaptation of the book series, India's Most Fearless: True Stories of Modern Military Heroes by Shiv Aroor and Rahul Singh. A chapter in one of the three books details a mission carried out by Major Mukund Varadarajan.
Jointly produced by Raaj Kamal Films International and Sony Pictures Films India, the film features Sivakarthikeyan, Sai Pallavi, Bhuvan Arora, Rahul Bose, Lallu, Shreekumar, Shyam Mohan, Geetha Kailasam, Umair Ibn Lateef and several others as part of the cast.
