Jai Shri Ram echoed through an event in Mumbai as MrBeast joined Ranbir Kapoor for the promotion of his much-anticipated film, Ramayana. A video of the YouTuber chanting the phrase with the actor has now gone viral.

The event brought together Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi, Ravie Dubey, director Nitesh Tiwari and producer Namit Malhotra, with MrBeast, whose real name is Jimmy Donaldson, joining the cast and crew as part of the film’s global promotional campaign.

Kapoor interacted with MrBeast and introduced him to aspects of the story and the cultural significance of Lord Ram. In another viral clip from the event, the actor prompted the YouTuber to chant “Jai Shri Ram”, with MrBeast joining in as the audience cheered.

One of the biggest moments from the event came when Kapoor, who plays Lord Ram in the film, lifted a replica of the Shiv Dhanush after offering prayers. The moment drew cheers from those present and quickly made its way across social media.

MrBeast’s appearance is part of the makers’ larger effort to take ‘Ramayana’ beyond Indian audiences. Namit Malhotra has previously spoken about the ambition to present the epic to viewers across international markets, and the film is being developed as a two-part theatrical saga with a global release strategy.

The upcoming film stars Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Ram and Sai Pallavi as Sita, while Yash plays Ravana. Ravie Dubey portrays Lakshman and Sunny Deol plays Hanuman.

The first part of Ramayana is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release in November 2026, with the second instalment planned for 2027.
